A CIP skid is judged by how well it holds temperature, flow, and chemical concentration on the worst circuit in the plant, not by the datasheet. We build these units for dairies running raw milk, pasteurized lines, yogurt and whey, and for plants with aseptic filling where rinse water must be verified before the next product starts.
What the system does
Caustic, acid, hot water, and rinse stages draw from separate tanks, push through a supply pump, return through a recovery pump, and are monitored for temperature, conductivity, flow, and level. Recovered caustic goes back to its tank; the interface is dumped to drain. Three-tank arrangements cover caustic, acid, and rinse water. Single-tank units suit smaller dairies where chemistry is switched manually between steps.
Selection points that actually matter
Tank volume follows circuit volume, not plant size. Allow 20–30% headspace for foam and dilution. Steam heating recovers faster on large volumes; electric is simpler where no boiler is available. Return pump sizing depends on pipe diameter and vertical lift — undersized returns are the most common mistake we see, and they show up as slow cycles and diluted caustic long before anyone checks the pump curve.

Where these skids go
Dairy receiving and pasteurization lines, beverage and brewery tanks, winery barrel and transfer lines, sauce and liquid food kettles, cosmetic mixing vessels, and pharmaceutical process equipment. Cleaning requirements differ by product residue — milk proteins need alkaline first, mineral scale needs acid — so the cycle recipe gets set per circuit.
Questions we get
Can we add circuits later? Yes, if the manifold and PLC I/O are sized for it at build time. Retrofitting later costs more.
Do we need a recovery tank? Only if caustic reuse is worth the floor space. Small plants often skip it.
How long is a typical cycle? 25–60 minutes depending on circuit length, temperature, and residue.

Customer Review
We ordered a complete peanut butter processing line, and overall we’ve been very happy with it. The equipment arrived well packed and everything was installed and tested without major issues. The line runs smoothly, and the mixing and processing have been consistent. Our peanut butter comes out with a good texture, and the equipment is not difficult for our operators to use and clean. The support from the supplier was also helpful during setup. So far, it has been a good investment for our production.
