Product description

What a split dual-tank CIP cart is actually for

Most plants that call us about this unit have the same problem: the process line is clean on paper, but the cleaning loop is a bucket, a hose, and a pump someone drags across the floor. A 500L split-type CIP unit puts caustic, acid, and rinse water in stainless tanks on a wheeled frame, with the pump and instruments mounted on board, so one operator can run a repeatable wash cycle on tanks, fillers, pasteurizers, piping, and valves.

We build it as two separate vessels on a common frame. That split is not cosmetic. Each tank scales roughly 250L, and either can be exchanged for a 300L or 400L shell when a customer\’s loop volume grows. Narrow doorways and mezzanine access are common at dairy and beverage sites, and a unit that cannot get to the line is useless.

How the cycle runs

Pre-rinse, caustic wash at 70–80 °C, intermediate rinse, acid wash when the product needs it, final rinse. Supply and return pumps move the solution through the circuit; a flow switch and pressure gauge tell the operator whether the spray balls are actually being fed. Temperature, level, and conductivity are the readings that matter — conductivity is what tells you the caustic has been flushed out, not a fixed timer.

Typical configuration (confirmed per order)

Cleaning tank capacity 2 × 250 L total 500 L; other volumes on request
Number of tanks Two (single, three, and four-tank builds available)
Stainless grade 304 standard; 316L for chloride or pharma service
Heating Electric immersion elements or steam coil/tube bundle
Pump flow and pressure Typically 10–20 m³/h at 0.3–0.6 MPa, sized to circuit length
Operating temperature Ambient to 80 °C, verified against caustic concentration
Control Manual pushbutton, semi-automatic, or PLC with HMI and data logging
Cleaning circuits Single loop standard; 2–4 loops with changeover valves
Power 380V/50Hz or 440V/60Hz, three-phase
Dimensions Approx. 1800 × 900 × 1600 mm; confirmed on drawing

Where these units go

Dairy receiving bays and CIP circuits, brewery fermenters and bright tanks, winery transfer lines, sauce and liquid-food kettles, cosmetic mixing vessels, and pharmaceutical process equipment where the client\’s own validation protocol governs. We supply the stainless circuit and documentation; the cleaning validation stays with your quality team.

Before you ask for a price

How do I size the tanks? Add up the internal volume of the loop plus a 10–15% margin. Undersized tanks starve the pump; oversized tanks waste caustic and heat.

Steam or electric? Steam if you already have a header and want fast recovery. Electric if the unit moves between areas without a steam drop.

Corner to watch: return pump capacity. Buyers match the supply pump and forget the return, then wonder why the tank overflows on a long loop.

Customer Review

We ordered a complete peanut butter processing line, and overall we’ve been very happy with it. The equipment arrived well packed and everything was installed and tested without major issues. The line runs smoothly, and the mixing and processing have been consistent. Our peanut butter comes out with a good texture, and the equipment is not difficult for our operators to use and clean. The support from the supplier was also helpful during setup. So far, it has been a good investment for our production.
