What this inline unit actually does on your line
This is a rotor-stator homogenizing pump built to sit in a pipe run or recirculation loop, not in the batch tank. Product enters the housing, passes through the rotor-stator head at high tip speed, and exits as a tighter, more uniform stream. For thick creams, pastes and particle-laden slurries, that means the lumps and agglomerates get broken down in one pass instead of sitting in the tank waiting for a paddle to catch them.
On viscous cosmetic creams and chemical reactor feeds, we usually see the biggest gain in cycle time. A recirculation loop through this pump can cut the manual scraping and re-blending that eats up a shift. It also keeps the batch moving, which matters when you are transferring 500 kg of high-solids material and cannot afford dead spots in the tank.
Where it fits — and where it does not
Food and beverage plants run it on sauces, dressings, syrups, dairy blends, and gum or starch hydration. Cosmetics and personal care processors use it for creams, lotions, shampoos and liquid detergents, especially where oil-water emulsification needs a repeatable shear profile. Chemical lines handle coatings, adhesives and aqueous dispersions — provided the wetted materials and seals match the solvent or pH.
It is not a universal answer. Very abrasive slurries will wear a standard rotor-stator quickly, and some shear-sensitive actives degrade if you push tip speed too high. Tell us the product viscosity, solids content and temperature before we size the motor and head geometry.
Build details that affect uptime
Wetted parts are stainless steel, with mechanical seals selected for your product. VFD control is available so operators can trim speed instead of swapping pulleys. Connections, motor power and contact materials can be customized — a tri-clamp sanitary build for a dairy line looks nothing like a flanged reactor feed.
Maintenance is straightforward: seal inspection and rotor clearance checks. Keep abrasive solids out of the seal face and it will run for years.
Questions buyers usually ask
Can it mount in an existing loop? Yes, if line size, flow rate and pressure drop are known. Send us a sketch.
Will it handle 50,000 cP cream? Often, but it depends on feed pressure and whether the pump is fed by gravity or a transfer pump.
Single or double mechanical seal? Double seals are common on solvents and reactor duty; single seals suit many aqueous products.
What about cleanability? Sanitary connections and a flushable seal chamber make CIP practical.
Next step
Send your batch size, product viscosity and solids, required motor power, and local voltage and frequency. Our engineers will recommend a rotor-stator configuration and quote accordingly.

Customer Review
We ordered a complete peanut butter processing line, and overall we’ve been very happy with it. The equipment arrived well packed and everything was installed and tested without major issues. The line runs smoothly, and the mixing and processing have been consistent. Our peanut butter comes out with a good texture, and the equipment is not difficult for our operators to use and clean. The support from the supplier was also helpful during setup. So far, it has been a good investment for our production.
