What a Four-Vessel CIP Station Actually Does
A 2000L four-vessel clean-in-place station lets one skid hold separate caustic, acid, hot water, and recovery/fresh water volumes, so changeovers between cleaning recipes don\’t require draining and recharging a single tank. On a large brewery or beverage line, that separation is usually the difference between a wash cycle that fits the production window and one that pushes into the next shift.
We build these as skid-mounted units with jacketed tanks, a supply pump, a return pump, and the instrumentation needed to hold a repeatable cycle: temperature at the vessel outlet, flow at the supply header, pressure at the pump discharge, and level in each tank. Nothing exotic — just the measurements an operator needs to confirm the wash actually ran the way the recipe says.
How the Cycle Runs
A typical sequence moves through a pre-rinse, a caustic recirculation at elevated temperature, an intermediate rinse, an acid wash where scaling is a concern, a final rinse, and a sanitizing step if the process requires it. Conductivity sensors at the return line tell the controller when rinse water is clean enough to stop, which saves water and time compared with fixed timers.

Where These Units Go
Dairy plants cleaning pasteurizers and silos, breweries washing fermenters and transfer lines, beverage facilities with syrup rooms and fillers, sauce and liquid-food operations with heavy residue, plus cosmetic and pharmaceutical process trains. Residue type drives the recipe more than the industry does — protein and fat need different chemistry than sugar or mineral scale.
Sizing Notes
Tank volume follows the largest circuit you intend to flush, not the total plant pipe length. Undersized vessels run dry mid-cycle; oversized ones waste chemical and heat. Return-line velocity matters as much as supply pressure, and we ask for pipe diameters and elevation before quoting a pump.
FAQ
Can the skid be added to an existing line? Yes, provided we know the circuit layout, existing valve types, and available floor space.
Steam or electric? Steam recovers faster and costs less to run where a header is nearby. Electric suits plants without a boiler.
How much automation is sensible? Semi-automatic covers most single-recipe plants. PLC control earns its cost when you run several products and need wash records.

Customer Review
We ordered a complete peanut butter processing line, and overall we’ve been very happy with it. The equipment arrived well packed and everything was installed and tested without major issues. The line runs smoothly, and the mixing and processing have been consistent. Our peanut butter comes out with a good texture, and the equipment is not difficult for our operators to use and clean. The support from the supplier was also helpful during setup. So far, it has been a good investment for our production.
