Fabrication and configuration

We establish shell geometry, supports, manways, vents, outlet position, and connections from the layout and process requirements. Weld procedures and inspection requirements are agreed for the selected material and service. Internal polishing or other surface finishing should be specified against a measurable requirement where one applies; a finish designation should not be assumed from the product name.

An agitator is not automatically needed for storage. If the process requires blending or suspension, impeller type, shaft arrangement, motor, and gearbox are selected around viscosity, batch volume, and mixing duty. Where temperature control is required, the heating method and control system depend on the target temperature, heat-up time, insulation, and available utilities.
