Material selection is the first decision. For most water and neutral chemicals, SUS304 (304 stainless) works well. For chloride-rich media, acidic solutions, or hygienic processing, we recommend SUS316L. The molybdenum content in 316L resists pitting and crevice corrosion. We do not guess—we ask about your stored product, pH, temperature, and cleaning method before quoting.
Welding is done with TIG, full penetration on the wetted side. We grind and passivate the weld seams to restore the oxide layer. Interior surfaces can be 2B, BA, or mirror polish, depending on whether you need easy cleaning or just basic drainage. For food and pharma, we use sanitary tri-clamp connections and slope the bottom for complete drain.
These tanks are not one-size-fits-all. A chemical tank needs a vent or a pressure rating; a water tank might need a simple manhole. We fabricate flat or cone bottoms, open or closed tops, with or without insulation and heating jackets. Agitation, level sensors, and sight glasses are optional. We build to your process, not to a catalog.

A: Yes, but vacuum requires additional stiffening rings and a thicker shell. We need the operating pressure and temperature to design it correctly.
Q: What about cleaning?
A: We can add spray balls for CIP and slope the bottom to 1–2% for full drainage. For manual cleaning, a manhole and washdown nozzle are standard options.
