Product description

We build vertical reactor vessels for fine chemical operations where batch consistency and material integrity are non-negotiable. This tank is designed around the realities of mixing, heating, cooling, and pressure control in a single unit.

The vessel is constructed from 304 or 316L stainless steel, depending on your process chemistry. For chloride-rich or acidic media, 316L is the safer call. We weld with full penetration and back-purge argon to keep the inner surface smooth and crevice-free. Internal welds are ground and electropolished where required, so cleaning cycles are shorter and residue buildup is minimized.

Agitation is handled by a top-mounted stirrer with a mechanical seal. You can choose from anchor, paddle, or turbine impellers based on viscosity and mixing intensity. For high-shear needs, we can add a disperser or emulsifier head. The drive motor is sized according to your batch volume and target RPM range, not guessed.

Heating and cooling are delivered through a jacket—either single, half-pipe, or dimple—depending on heat transfer requirements and available utilities. We also offer internal coils for processes that need faster response. Temperature control is managed via a PID loop with a PT100 sensor, and the jacket is designed for steam, thermal oil, or chilled water.

The vessel is rated for pressures from full vacuum up to 1.0 MPa, and design temperatures range from -20°C to 200°C. All pressure-bearing components are calculated per ASME or GB150 standards, and we provide documentation on request.

Surface finish inside is typically 0.4–0.8 μm Ra, with optional mirror polish for pharmaceutical or food-grade applications. The outside is brushed or painted to your specification. Manholes, sight glasses, pressure gauges, and sample ports are standard options.

Typical installations are in fine chemical synthesis, polymer additive production, pharmaceutical intermediates, and cosmetic emulsification. We have delivered units for solvent-based reactions, slurry handling, and temperature-sensitive polymerizations.

FAQ

Q: How do I decide between 304 and 316L? If you handle chlorides, acids, or salt solutions, choose 316L. For general organic synthesis, 304 is usually sufficient and more economical.

Q: Can you build for vacuum operation? Yes. We can design for full vacuum with appropriate stiffening rings and wall thickness.

Q: What about cleaning? We offer CIP spray balls and a sloped bottom for complete drainage. Electropolishing makes the surface easier to clean.

Q: Do you provide documentation? We supply material certificates, weld maps, pressure test reports, and a nameplate. Extra documentation like NACE or PMI can be arranged.

Q: What is your lead time? Typically 4–8 weeks depending on size and complexity. Custom configurations may take longer.

Before you request a quote, prepare these details: the chemical composition of your process stream, batch volume, operating temperature and pressure, viscosity, mixing speed requirement, and whether you need heating or cooling. That information lets our engineers recommend the right wall thickness, impeller type, and seal arrangement. Send us your process requirements and we will respond with a technical proposal and pricing.

Customer Review

We ordered a complete peanut butter processing line, and overall we’ve been very happy with it. The equipment arrived well packed and everything was installed and tested without major issues. The line runs smoothly, and the mixing and processing have been consistent. Our peanut butter comes out with a good texture, and the equipment is not difficult for our operators to use and clean. The support from the supplier was also helpful during setup. So far, it has been a good investment for our production.
