1000L Jacketed Mixing Tank for Liquid Chemicals
This 1000L jacketed tank is designed for batches that need mixing alongside controlled heating or cooling. A jacket transfers heat through the vessel wall, avoiding direct contact between the heating medium and the chemical product. The required temperature range, batch time, and fluid properties determine the practical heating and cooling arrangement; the tank capacity alone is not enough to size those systems.
Construction and process details
We select wetted materials according to chemical compatibility, cleaning method, and operating temperature. Stainless steel 304 may suit many general-duty liquids, while 316L can be considered for more corrosive formulations. These are configuration choices, not confirmed standard materials. Weld procedures, internal finish, and polishing level should be agreed against the product and cleaning requirements. Gasket material also needs review against the chemicals, temperature, and cleaning agents used.
Electric heating can be arranged through a suitable jacket heating system. Cooling requires a compatible utility and a defined heat-removal duty. The control panel, sensors, electrical supply, insulation, and temperature-control method should be specified together. Mixing hardware is selected from viscosity, solids content, batch behavior, and required blend quality. An anchor or other low-speed agitator may suit viscous liquids; a different impeller and drive may be preferable for lower-viscosity products. Motor and gearbox sizing should follow the actual operating load, not just tank volume.
Typical applications
Potential uses include chemical blending, resin or additive preparation, and temperature-controlled formulation work. In a real process, a product that thickens as it cools may need a different impeller and heat-transfer plan than a freely flowing solvent blend. Confirm the operating sequence, including whether mixing continues during heating, cooling, filling, and cleaning.

Questions from project teams
Can the tank handle a specific chemical? Compatibility depends on concentration, temperature, exposure time, and cleaning chemistry. Share the product data for material review.
What information is needed for a quotation? Provide batch volume, viscosity range, target temperatures and cycle times, product properties, available utilities, cleaning method, and site electrical requirements. Also identify any limits on vessel dimensions, access, or installation.
These details let our engineers recommend a practical vessel, agitator, jacket duty, and control package rather than relying on nominal capacity alone.
