This 10,000-liter horizontal tank is built for bulk water storage where floor space is limited and headroom is a concern. We fabricate it entirely from SS304 sheet, with all welds performed by certified welders and ground flush to eliminate crevices where bacteria could take hold.
The horizontal saddle design distributes the filled weight evenly across the base frame, which is critical when the tank is installed on compacted ground or an elevated platform. The shell is rolled from single sheets to minimize longitudinal welds, and each circumferential seam is fully penetrated and argon-shielded. Interior surfaces are pickled and passivated, then mechanically polished to a Ra ≤ 0.8 µm finish. That matters if you cycle between water and cleaning chemicals, because a smoother surface resists both scaling and corrosion far better than a rough mill finish.
We supply this tank with a hinged manway on top for internal inspection and cleaning. Standard fittings include an inlet, outlet, vent, and bottom drain, all tri-clamp connections. You can specify additional ports for level sensors, temperature probes, or a spray ball for CIP. The tank operates at atmospheric pressure; if you need vacuum or pressure rating, that requires a different shell thickness and head design — tell us your conditions before ordering.
SS304 is adequate for potable water, most food products, and general industrial use. If you are storing chlorides, brine, or acidic cleaning solutions at elevated temperatures, we will recommend SS316L instead. Getting the material right from the start prevents pitting and extends service life.

FAQ
Can this tank hold hot water? Yes, up to 100°C continuous. For higher temperatures or thermal cycling, discuss gasket and vent sizing with us.
Is it suitable for underground installation? No. This is an above-ground design. Buried tanks require reinforced walls and external coating.
How is it shipped? Loose on a flat rack or in a 40ft container, depending on your port. Rigging lugs are included.
