Fixed Vacuum Emulsifier Homogenizer Mixer for Cream Production

A fixed vacuum emulsifier mixer combines vessel agitation, high-shear homogenization, and vacuum processing for cream and lotion production. Configuration depends on batch volume, viscosity, formulation, temperature requirements, and cleaning method. Product description

Fixed Vacuum Emulsifier Mixer for Cream Production

This fixed-type vacuum emulsifier is designed for batches that need controlled mixing, high-shear homogenization, and air removal in one vessel. It is commonly specified for facial creams, lotions, ointments, and similar viscous products. A fixed vessel can suit a dedicated production line, but its layout should account for product discharge, cleaning access, and any downstream transfer equipment.

We size the agitator and rotor-stator homogenizer around the batch volume, viscosity profile, ingredient addition sequence, and target texture. A sweep or anchor agitator can help move material along the vessel wall, while the high-shear head breaks down droplets and disperses powders. Motor and reducer selection depends on the load during the thickest stage of the batch; specifying from water-like viscosity alone can lead to poor performance at the end of processing.

Construction and configuration

Wetted parts can be specified in 304 or 316L stainless steel according to formulation chemistry, cleaning agents, and hygiene requirements. Welds in product-contact areas are finished to reduce residue traps, with surface finish and polishing level agreed to match the process. Vacuum-rated shaft seals and vessel connections require attention to both operating conditions and maintenance access. Jacket heating or cooling may be configured where the process needs temperature control; the heat-transfer method and control arrangement depend on the available utilities and batch requirements.

Configuration points

Item Engineering basis
Working volume Batch size, headspace, and foaming behavior
Wetted materials Product compatibility and cleaning chemistry
Agitation and homogenizer Viscosity, shear needs, and addition sequence
Heating or cooling Temperature range, utilities, and cycle time
Controls and discharge Operating sequence, transfer method, and site layout

Applications and practical questions

Cosmetic and personal-care plants use this equipment for emulsions and creams; pharmaceutical and specialty chemical applications may also be suitable after material, cleaning, and process requirements are reviewed. During quotation, confirm whether powders are charged under vacuum, how the batch is discharged, and whether cleaning is manual or integrated with a cleaning system.

Can one configuration handle every cream? No. Formula viscosity, shear sensitivity, batch size, and temperature profile affect the vessel and drive arrangement.

What should we send for a recommendation? Provide batch volume, product ingredients or compatibility constraints, viscosity range, process steps, target temperature, available utilities, cleaning method, and installation dimensions. These details let our engineers recommend a practical configuration and identify what must be confirmed before fabrication.

Customer Review

We ordered a complete peanut butter processing line, and overall we’ve been very happy with it. The equipment arrived well packed and everything was installed and tested without major issues. The line runs smoothly, and the mixing and processing have been consistent. Our peanut butter comes out with a good texture, and the equipment is not difficult for our operators to use and clean. The support from the supplier was also helpful during setup. So far, it has been a good investment for our production.
