Product description

Batch mixing for creams, shampoos, and sauces

This automatic mixer tank is configured for products that need controlled agitation, and, where the recipe requires it, high-shear emulsification. Typical applications include body lotion, cream, shampoo, mayonnaise, and sauces. The right arrangement depends on batch size, viscosity, ingredient addition sequence, and whether the process needs heating or cooling. A homogenizer can help disperse oil and water phases, but it does not replace suitable formulation, temperature control, or batch testing.

Construction and process configuration

Product-contact surfaces are commonly specified in 304 or 316L stainless steel. The choice depends on ingredients, cleaning chemicals, chloride exposure, and plant hygiene requirements. We confirm material selection against the actual product and cleaning procedure. Welds in product-contact areas should be continuous and finished to the agreed surface requirement; sanitary connections, drainability, and access for inspection should be settled before fabrication. Seal materials also need to suit product chemistry and operating temperature.

Agitator geometry and drive sizing are selected for the batch’s viscosity and flow behavior. An anchor or scraper arrangement may help move viscous material near the vessel wall; a high-speed disperser or inline/immersed homogenizer may be specified when finer dispersion is needed. These devices create different shear and circulation patterns, so the process objective should guide selection. Heating may use a jacket or another configured system, with temperature sensing and control matched to the required process range. Cooling, vacuum, and automated ingredient addition are optional design considerations, not assumed standard features.

Frequently asked questions

Can one machine handle cosmetics and food products? It may be configured for either application, but contact materials, seals, cleaning requirements, and changeover procedures need review.

What should we send for a quotation? Provide batch volume, product viscosity or a sample, ingredients, target temperature, mixing time, cleaning method, and required utilities. These details let our engineers recommend a practical vessel and drive configuration rather than sizing from product name alone.

We ordered a complete peanut butter processing line, and overall we’ve been very happy with it. The equipment arrived well packed and everything was installed and tested without major issues. The line runs smoothly, and the mixing and processing have been consistent. Our peanut butter comes out with a good texture, and the equipment is not difficult for our operators to use and clean. The support from the supplier was also helpful during setup. So far, it has been a good investment for our production.
