The 304 grade gives you good corrosion resistance for a wide range of organic and inorganic chemicals, especially where chlorides are not a major concern. For harsher environments, we can step up to 316L or line the vessel with glass or PTFE—but that\’s a conversation based on your specific chemistry. What we do as standard is full-penetration TIG welding on all wetted seams, followed by pickling and passivation. The inner surface is mechanically polished to a 0.4–0.6 μm Ra finish, which makes cleaning and batch changeovers noticeably easier.

The jacketed design is where the process control happens. We can configure the jacket for steam heating, thermal oil, or chilled water circulation, depending on your temperature requirements. The jacket itself is dimpled or spiral-wound, with proper drainage and venting to avoid dead zones. You can also add a separate cooling coil if your exothermic reactions need fast heat removal. Working pressure and design temperature are calculated from your process envelope—we don\’t guess. If you\’re running vacuum or positive pressure, the vessel is built and stamped accordingly.

Agitation is another area where we avoid a one-size-fits-all approach. A standard anchor or paddle works for many low-to-medium viscosity batches. But if you\’re dealing with high shear, emulsification, or solid suspension, we\’ll fit a turbine, propeller, or even a magnetic drive for sealed applications. Our shaft seals range from simple packing to single or double mechanical seals, with options for flush and quench systems.
