Horizontal Storage Tanks Built for Real Working Conditions
We fabricate this 10,000-liter horizontal tank from either SUS304 or SUS316L, depending on what you plan to store. The horizontal configuration keeps the center of gravity low, which simplifies transport and installation in facilities with limited ceiling height. It\’s a practical choice for water treatment, chemical dosing, food ingredient storage, and many other process applications.
The shell is rolled from single sheets and welded with full-penetration TIG welds. We follow standard sanitary welding procedures, then grind and passivate the weld seams to restore corrosion resistance. Internal surfaces can be finished to 2B, 2B with pickling passivation, or mirror polish (Ra ≤ 0.8 µm) for hygienic requirements. We also offer dimple jackets, insulation with cladding, and multiple inlet/outlet configurations tailored to your pipe layout.
Material selection is straightforward: SUS304 suits neutral liquids like clean water and many food products. SUS316L adds molybdenum, which improves resistance to chlorides and mild acids, so it\’s the better call for brine, seawater, or cleaning with aggressive chemicals. If your process involves vacuum or pressure, we need to know upfront—we design and rate those vessels separately to avoid structural failure.
