This tank is built for bulk liquid containment where straightforward, dependable storage matters more than complex processing features. The horizontal orientation keeps the center of gravity low, which simplifies transport and installation in facilities with limited ceiling height. We manufacture this vessel from rolled stainless steel plate with full-penetration TIG welding on the shell seams and heads.
The standard build uses SUS304 grade stainless steel, which handles water, edible oils, and a wide range of non-corrosive liquids without issue. For fluids with higher chloride content, acidic characteristics, or where stricter sanitary standards apply, we recommend SUS316L. The interior is pickled and passivated, leaving a clean surface that resists pitting. For food-grade service, we offer mechanical polishing to a 0.4–0.6 µm Ra finish, which makes routine washdowns and sanitation straightforward.
This is a single-wall, atmospheric pressure vessel. It is not designed for vacuum service or internal pressure above static head. If your process involves heating, cooling, agitation, or transfer with a pump that could pressurize the tank, we need to discuss a modified design before fabrication. Vacuum or pressure duty requires properly rated heads, reinforcement rings, and vacuum bars — do not assume a standard tank can handle those conditions.
Applications for this size range include raw water storage, edible oil holding, liquid feed supplements, and intermediate bulk storage in food processing or light chemical facilities. The horizontal design also works well where floor space is tight and vertical tanks would interfere with existing piping or building structure.
