100 L Perfume Storage and Mixing Tank
A 100 L perfume storage and mixing tank can be configured around batch volume, fragrance properties, cleaning procedures, and site conditions. Define whether 100 L refers to gross or working capacity, then specify the required agitator, contact material, seals, temperature control, and transfer connections. Flammable-solvent handling may also affect electrical and installation requirements.

100 L Perfume Storage and Mixing Tank
A perfume tank may need to do more than hold a finished batch. In a 100 L vessel, the practical questions are whether the stated capacity is gross or usable, how the fragrance is transferred, and whether gentle mixing can keep the blend uniform without drawing air into the liquid. We configure the vessel around the batch volume, ingredients, cleaning method, and production area rather than assuming one standard arrangement suits every formula.
Construction and process options
Product-contact parts can be specified in stainless steel according to the fragrance formulation, cleaning chemicals, and site requirements. 304 or 316L may be considered after reviewing corrosion exposure; neither grade should be selected by name alone. Welds, internal corners, nozzle placement, and drainability affect cleaning and residue retention. The required internal finish should be agreed before fabrication, especially when the vessel will handle light-colored or high-value fragrances. Gasket material also needs compatibility review against alcohol, aromatic compounds, and cleaning agents.
The agitator is selected for the liquid’s viscosity, batch depth, and required blend time. A propeller-style impeller may suit low-viscosity liquids, while other impeller geometries can be considered when the formula or operating method calls for different circulation. Motor and reducer sizing depend on these conditions. A variable-speed drive may help operators adjust mixing during charging and blending, but speed range and control details need to be defined from the process.
Heating or temperature control is optional and should be specified only when the formulation or room conditions require it. Jacketed heating, insulation, and sensor placement affect response time and temperature uniformity. If the perfume contains flammable solvents, electrical equipment classification, grounding, ventilation, and the applicable site safety requirements must be reviewed before the drive and controls are finalized.
Technical specification basis
| Item | Available basis |
|---|---|
| Vessel capacity | 100 L stated; confirm gross versus working volume |
| Product-contact material | Selected to suit formula and cleaning regime |
| Mixing system | Impeller, motor, and reducer sized to process conditions |
| Temperature control | Optional; define heating or cooling duty if required |
| Finish and seals | Specified to match hygiene, compatibility, and cleaning needs |
Questions before ordering
Can the tank store and mix? Yes, when the outlet, agitator, and cleaning arrangement are designed for both duties. What should we confirm first? Provide batch and working volumes, ingredient properties, mixing time, temperature range, cleaning method, transfer connections, and installation constraints. These details let our engineers recommend a buildable configuration and clarify which specifications require confirmation before quotation.
