Product description

Vacuum Emulsifying Mixer for Soap and Cosmetic Batches

This vacuum emulsifying mixer is configured around the product’s viscosity, batch size, and process sequence. It can support creams, lotions, gels, and selected liquid soap formulations. Vacuum is useful when air entrainment affects appearance, filling, or product stability; it is not automatically required for every liquid soap. We confirm the process objective before specifying the vessel and mixing system.

The main vessel may use 304 stainless steel for compatible formulations, while 316 stainless steel can be considered where ingredients or cleaning chemicals create greater corrosion risk. Product-contact welds should be continuous and finished to the agreed surface requirement, with passivation where specified. The required finish depends on cleanability and product sensitivity. Seal materials must also be checked against oils, surfactants, fragrances, temperature, and cleaning agents.

Mixing, Heating, and Configuration

Agitator type and drive selection depend on viscosity and batch behavior. An anchor or scraper agitator can help move viscous material along the vessel wall; a high-shear emulsifying head may be appropriate when the formula needs finer dispersion. These systems serve different duties, so motor, reducer, speed range, and impeller geometry should be selected from process data rather than vessel volume alone.

Jacket heating or cooling can be included when the process needs controlled temperature changes. The heating medium and control method depend on the required temperature range, available utilities, and batch response. For maintenance access, discuss seal replacement, agitator removal, vacuum connections, and cleaning access during layout review.

Specification Planning

Parameter Basis for selection
Working capacity Batch size, fill level, and foaming or expansion allowance
Contact materials and finish Formula chemistry, cleaning method, and hygiene requirements
Agitation and drive Viscosity, shear needs, mixing time, and batch behavior
Vacuum and temperature systems Deaeration target, process sequence, utilities, and control needs

Applications and FAQs

Typical applications include cosmetic creams and lotions, personal-care gels, and soap products that benefit from controlled dispersion or deaeration.

Does every liquid soap batch need vacuum? No. The formula and filling requirements determine whether deaeration is useful.

What should be supplied for a quotation? Provide batch size, ingredient or viscosity range, process steps, target temperatures, cleaning method, available utilities, and site electrical requirements. These details let our engineers recommend a practical configuration without assuming a standard duty.

We ordered a complete peanut butter processing line, and overall we’ve been very happy with it. The equipment arrived well packed and everything was installed and tested without major issues. The line runs smoothly, and the mixing and processing have been consistent. Our peanut butter comes out with a good texture, and the equipment is not difficult for our operators to use and clean. The support from the supplier was also helpful during setup. So far, it has been a good investment for our production.
