This mobile lift-mounted mixer is intended for liquid and lotion batches that need dispersion, blending, or homogenization. The right setup depends on more than batch volume: viscosity, powder addition, required particle reduction, vessel diameter, and cleaning method all affect the working head and drive selection. We confirm whether the process calls for a high-speed dispersing blade, a rotor-stator homogenizing head, a separate agitator, or a combination. These tools are not interchangeable; using the wrong one can leave unmixed zones or introduce unwanted air.

Construction and configuration

Product-contact parts can be specified in an appropriate stainless steel grade, commonly 304 or 316L when the formulation or cleaning chemistry requires greater corrosion resistance. The choice should follow ingredient compatibility, washdown practices, and applicable plant standards. Welds, corners, and shaft details should be designed for the cleaning method; sanitary polishing requirements can be specified where product contact calls for them. Seal material also needs to suit the formulation, temperature, and cleaning agents.

The lift may use a pneumatic or electric arrangement, subject to the required travel, mixer head weight, available utilities, and site safety requirements. Motor and gearbox selection depends on viscosity, batch size, tool diameter, and operating speed. A variable-speed drive may help manage startup and process changes, but the usable speed range must match the selected impeller. Heating is not assumed as standard: when temperature control is needed, a jacketed vessel or external heating system, sensor location, and control range should be defined with the process.
