Liquid Soap and Detergent Production Line
A liquid soap or detergent line must handle the actual formula, not just move liquid between tanks. Surfactant concentration, viscosity, foam tendency, fragrance addition, and batch size all affect mixing and transfer. We configure the process around the recipe and required output, with mixing, optional heating, transfer, and filling equipment selected to suit the production sequence.
For a new project, we first review the order of ingredient addition and the point at which powders, color, or fragrance enter the batch. High-speed dispersion can help wet out some powders, while a slower sweep agitator may be more appropriate for viscous products or gentle blending. Excessive agitation can entrain air or create foam, so impeller type, speed range, and motor and gearbox sizing should reflect the product’s behavior. A transfer pump also needs to match viscosity and protect product quality.
Materials and fabrication
Product-contact parts are commonly specified in 304 or 316 stainless steel. The right grade depends on the formulation, cleaning chemicals, and exposure conditions; chloride-containing ingredients or demanding washdown routines may require closer review. We consider weld quality, accessible internal corners, drainability, and surface finish as part of the vessel design. Welds should be finished appropriately for the cleaning method, with passivation considered where applicable. Gaskets and mechanical seals must be checked for compatibility with surfactants, fragrances, solvents, and cleaning agents.
Heating is a process option, not a default requirement. When a formula needs warming, the heat source and control approach depend on batch size, target temperature, heating rate, and product sensitivity. Temperature measurement and control should be located and specified to represent the batch reliably.
