When a line is already running and the batch tank is the bottleneck, an in-line high shear unit often solves more problems than a larger agitator. Ace Mixer builds this automatic rotor-stator homogenizer pump for continuous or recirculation duty, where liquid shampoo, detergent, cosmetics, and compatible chemical streams need faster dispersion and a more repeatable emulsion.
The pump pulls product through a close-clearance rotor-stator head at high speed. Shear and hydraulic action break down powders, wet out gums and thickeners, and reduce lumps before they reach filling. Because the head is mounted in the pipe run or loop, you can add it to an existing tank without rebuilding the whole room. For many formulations, that means less manual dumping, shorter cycle times, and less product left in the tank.
Where it fits
Common duty includes shampoo and liquid wash, conditioners, cream and lotion emulsions, sauces and dressings, syrups, beverage concentrates, starch and stabilizer slurries, and compatible chemical dispersions. It also suits pharmaceutical liquid preparation where the wetted materials, seals, and cleaning method match the process. Results depend on viscosity, solids loading, temperature, flow rate, and rotor-stator selection, so we do not treat one configuration as universal.
Build and options
We offer stainless steel construction, sanitary and industrial connections, single or multiple stage shear heads, and optional VFD control for speed adjustment. Motor power, mechanical seal, elastomers, surface finish, and contact materials can be specified for the product and washdown conditions. If your line has limited space, tell us the pipe layout; compact skid or inline mounting can often be accommodated.
Buying notes
Do not size by tank volume alone. Flow, discharge pressure, solids, and target particle size matter more. Also check cleaning routine and seal compatibility early. For viscous or abrasive products, a different head and seal arrangement may be needed.
