Shampoo and liquid soap batches can behave very differently during mixing. A surfactant blend may foam when pulled into the mixer, while a thickened formula can become difficult to circulate as viscosity rises. We configure the vessel, agitator, and transfer arrangement around the actual formula and batch cycle rather than assuming one mixer will suit every product.

The production scope can be developed around batch preparation and, when required, connected transfer equipment. Vessel capacity, working volume, and outlet geometry depend on batch size, minimum batch requirements, foaming tendency, and downstream filling rate. Materials and fabrication

SUS304 stainless steel is commonly considered for compatible formulations; SUS316L may be appropriate where ingredients or cleaning chemicals require greater corrosion resistance. Final selection depends on the complete chemical list and operating conditions. We specify product-contact welds, finishing, and polishing requirements for the intended cleaning method. Seals also need to match the formula, temperature, and cleaning agents. Confirm the required surface-finish standard and documentation before fabrication; “polished” alone is not a measurable acceptance criterion.

Mixing and temperature control

Agitator and drive selection depends on viscosity through the batch, desired circulation, shear sensitivity, and whether air entrainment must be limited. Motor and reducer sizing follow those process conditions. Heating or cooling can be considered when the formula requires temperature control. Jacket design and the heat source—such as plant hot water, steam, or another specified utility—must be reviewed against the target temperature, batch time, and available site services. Temperature sensors and control arrangements are selected to suit the process.
