We configure this 316L stainless steel chemical blender around the product, batch size, and required process steps rather than assuming one agitator suits every formula.
316L stainless steel is commonly specified for product-contact surfaces where corrosion resistance is important. Actual compatibility depends on the full formulation, cleaning chemicals, temperature, and chloride exposure, so these should be reviewed before material approval. Welds, internal corners, and connections need to suit the required cleanability. Weld finishing and product-contact surface polish should be agreed in the specification; a particular finish is not assumed. Seal materials and shaft-seal arrangement also depend on the formula and cleaning routine.
Agitator selection affects batch uniformity, foam formation, and mixing time. A propeller or similar high-flow impeller may suit thinner liquids; thicker products may call for a different geometry or a wall-sweeping arrangement. We size the motor and gearbox for the expected viscosity and startup load, not just the tank volume.
