Product description

Vacuum Homogenizing Emulsifier for Cream and Lotion Production

This system is designed for batch processes that combine liquid and oil phases, disperse powders, and develop a consistent emulsion under vacuum. Cosmetic manufacturers commonly use it for creams and body lotions where air entrainment, incomplete powder wetting, or inconsistent texture can affect filling and product appearance. Suitability for food or chemical products depends on the formulation, cleaning requirements, and selected materials.

Process and construction considerations

We configure the vessel, agitator, and bottom or inline homogenizer around the product’s viscosity, batch size, and required shear. A wall-scraping anchor can help move viscous material and reduce buildup; a high-speed homogenizing head supports dispersion and droplet-size reduction. These functions have different power and mixing requirements, so motor and reducer selection should follow process data rather than vessel volume alone.

Product-contact surfaces can be specified in 304 or 316L stainless steel according to the formulation and cleaning chemistry. Weld finish, internal polish, drainability, and seal materials should be agreed before fabrication. Vacuum-rated seals and a vessel designed for the specified operating conditions are important; vacuum level and vessel design must be confirmed for the application. Heating and cooling may use a jacket with a project-selected utility, such as hot water, steam, or an electric system. Temperature range and control accuracy depend on the process and heat-transfer design.

Configuration details

Item Engineering basis
Batch capacity Set from working volume, headspace, and batch schedule
Contact materials Selected for product compatibility and sanitation needs
Agitation and homogenizing Selected for viscosity, solids, shear, and process sequence
Heating and cooling Defined by utility availability and temperature profile
Controls and options Specified for operating steps, automation, and plant standards

Frequently asked questions

Can one mixer process creams and lotions? Often, but the agitator, homogenizer, and batch range must suit both products. Share the highest viscosity and smallest batch.

What information is needed for a quotation? Provide formulation type, batch size, viscosity or solids content, process temperatures, cycle time, cleaning method, and available utilities.

To identify a suitable model, send representative product data and describe the sequence of charging, heating, emulsifying, cooling, and discharge. Those details let our engineers recommend a practical vessel and drive configuration without relying on a nominal capacity alone.

Customer Review

We ordered a complete peanut butter processing line, and overall we’ve been very happy with it. The equipment arrived well packed and everything was installed and tested without major issues. The line runs smoothly, and the mixing and processing have been consistent. Our peanut butter comes out with a good texture, and the equipment is not difficult for our operators to use and clean. The support from the supplier was also helpful during setup. So far, it has been a good investment for our production.
